Only These iPhone Models Are Getting The New Siri AI This Fall

Apple has announced that the AI-powered Siri upgrade will launch with iOS 27 this fall, but compatibility will be limited to iPhone models with Apple Intelligence and Siri settings, specifically the iPhone 15 Pro and later. The company also stated that iPhone 17 Pro models will feature an even more powerful on-device model for the new Siri.

The decision means that users with older or non-Pro iPhone models will not receive the upgraded Siri experience. The iPhone 17 Pro has not yet been released, but Apple's announcement indicates that future hardware will be required to access the full capabilities of the new assistant.

The move continues Apple's strategy of tying advanced AI features to its latest hardware, encouraging upgrades.
