Terms & Conditions

These terms govern your use of airiskclock.news (the “Site”), a media literacy experiment operated by Christchurch Web Solutions (“we”, “us”). By accessing the Site or subscribing to the newsletter you agree to these terms.

1. Nature of the Service

The Site aggregates AI-related news articles and renders each through three distinct editorial lenses — Dark (alarmist), Neutral (broadsheet), and Light (utopian). All editorial content on the Site — including the three voiced summaries, the daily clock reasoning, the columns published at /one-voice, the falsifiable claims and resolutions on /claims, the coverage-gap classifications, the at-risk-jobs sentiment tags, and the daily editorial cartoons — is produced by large language models or image-generation models, not by human journalists or artists. It is presented as a media literacy demonstration, not as journalism.

The site also publishes a “risk clock” score derived from our public versioned methodology. The score is an opinion expressed editorially, not a prediction of any outcome.

2. Not advice

Nothing on the Site, in any voice, or in the newsletter constitutes financial, legal, medical, employment, or investment advice. Do not act on any content here without independent professional advice.

3. Accuracy and AI-generated content

Article excerpts, editorial summaries, claim resolutions, and coverage classifications are produced by AI. We make reasonable efforts to ground them in the underlying sources, but AI-generated text can contain inaccuracies, fabrications, or outdated information. Always consult the original source (linked on every article) before relying on any claim.

The daily cartoons on /cartoonsare generated by an image-generation model from briefs written by another AI against our editorial voice anchors. They are caricatures and satire — not photographs, not depictions of real events, and not endorsed statements about any real person. Resemblance to a public figure is for editorial commentary in the tradition of newspaper political cartooning.

4. Third-party links and content

Links to external news sources are provided for reference. We do not endorse or verify the content of any linked site, and we are not responsible for their availability or practices.

5. Intellectual property

Headlines and short excerpts from news sources are reproduced under fair use / fair dealing for the purpose of commentary and media literacy. All editorial summaries, voice treatments, site code, and clock methodology are © Christchurch Web Solutions unless otherwise stated. You may share and link to articles freely; wholesale reproduction of the site or newsletter is not permitted without written permission.

6. The newsletter

The daily briefing is dispatched once per day after our agent run completes. It contains editorial summaries, links to sources, and always a one-click unsubscribe link in the footer. Your email address is used solely to deliver the briefing you requested.

7. No warranty

The Site and newsletter are provided “as is” with no warranties, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law we disclaim liability for any loss arising from your use of the Site or reliance on its content.

8. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page and dated above. Continued use of the Site after a change constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
