Anthropic Unveils Claude Security to Counter AI-Powered Exploit Surge

FeaturesSafetyModels

Anthropic has launched Claude Security, a new feature accessible from the Claude.ai sidebar, aimed at helping cybersecurity defenders address the growing number of AI-powered exploits. The announcement comes amid a surge in attacks that leverage artificial intelligence to bypass traditional security measures.

The feature integrates Opus 4.7, Anthropic's latest model, into security platforms from CrowdStrike, Microsoft Security, Palo Alto Networks, SentinelOne, Trend.ai, and Wiz. These integrations allow the security vendors to use Claude's capabilities to detect and respond to threats, as part of an effort to keep pace with the evolving attack landscape. Anthropic stated that the tool is designed to assist human analysts rather than replace them.

The release of Claude Security follows a broader trend of AI companies releasing specialised products for cybersecurity. Anthropic has not disclosed pricing or availability details beyond the initial rollout.
