None of this is nothing — a shared vocabulary for verification beats every vendor inventing its own incompatible audit PDF, and the Linux Foundation does know how to keep a specification alive past the press release. But 'Proof-of-Control' is a phrase that presumes the thing being proven can be proven, by the party doing the proving, on a timeline set by a comment deadline. Congress is 'moving' on agent security, which in the legislative sense means a working group has been formed and a statement has been drafted — and that comment deadline is the only calendar in the room with a date on it. The agents, meanwhile, are not waiting for v2.0.
